Nørgaard på Strøget

We highly recommend visiting this Copenhagen classic that has been known to bridge fashion and art through different collaborations and initiatives for many years. Mads Nørgaard finds inspiration in art in his designs and often collaborates closely with artists on various projects—both in the design of clothing and as inspiration for their offices and stores.

The Danish artist FOS has created all of the interior and designed everything from flooring and wall colours to the shelves and fitting rooms. Aside from the FOS interior, Mads Nørgaard has a large contemporary art collection on show.

KINRADEN

We are long-time admirers of the beautiful and sustainable jewellery brand made by the talented designer and architect, Sarah Müllertz. Not only does she have a passion for design, architecture, and jewellery, she is also a passionate art collector (read about her approach to collecting here). This shows in their newly-opened flagship store in Copenhagen where the jewellery is beautifully surrounded by inspirational contemporary art.

For Sarah, art has always been a natural companion, which is why she has made it an essential part of KINRADEN. Through art the company not only communicates its values but also invites dialogue and reflection. In the store, it creates an atmosphere that sparks curiosity and trust in customers while also providing her team with insight into the universe and inspirations that drive the business.

Palmes Tennis Society

We have a profound love for the art of tennis here at the CHART office. So, when Palmes opened up their new shop in Carlsbergbyen we were all ears! They make clothes for life both on and off the court and was founded in 2021 from the idea of creating a contemporary menswear label with roots in tennis culture. Palmes blends together a love for the sport and surrounding culture with elements from the spheres of art, architecture, design, music and more.

Part of their ethos is to work with artists and creatives from outside of fashion to reinterpret the feelings of tennis through their given medium. It was therefore natural that their close friend, Danish artist Frederik Nystrup-Larsen, was to be part of their new Copenhagen home.

Another Aspect

For a thoughtfully curated menswear experience, paired with great coffee and a touch of art, visit Another Aspect on Møntergade. They opened their retail space here in 2023 in the heart of Copenhagen with the special feature of an in-house La Cabra coffee shop, serving exceptional coffee and freshly baked goods.

The store seamlessly combines a commitment to avoiding fast fashion and fleeting trends with a backdrop of contemporary art, creating an inspiring atmosphere for visitors. Specialising in classic menswear, it’s a must-visit for anyone seeking timeless wardrobe staples designed to last a lifetime.
