Morten Løbner Espersen (DK)
Morten Løbner Espersen creates beauty from the “nothingness” of clay. He explores its endless possibilities, experimenting with form, glaze, colour, and surface. His signature cylinders can be varied infinitely, representing stability and inner calm. The firing process adds unpredictability, giving each piece a unique presence, where material, form, and colour come together in a dynamic, living expression.
Morten Løbner Espersen (b. 1965, Denmark; lives in Denmark) studied at Denmark’s Design School and École Supérieure des Arts Appliqués Duperré, Paris. His work is held in collections including the Victoria and Albert Museum, Museum of Arts and Design, and Designmuseum Danmark.
