About The Works
SE 74485, 2024 and 2025
In this body of work, Ulf Jevin draws inspiration from a site in Kattvik (a nature reserve located along the coast of the Bjäre Peninsula) which shares its ID number with the title of the work.
For seven years, the artist has returned to the same place day after day to observe. Guided by an intuitive feeling, he has allowed each individual’s distinctive traits and peculiarities to take shape through sketches — portraits of presence, movement, and personality.

About The Artist
Ulf Jevin (born in 1978 in Sandared, Sweden) and grew up in Kattvik, Sweden. He currently lives and works on the Bjärehalvön peninsula. In 2010, he received an MFA from HDK-Valand Academy of Art and Design. Previously, his work has been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions mainly in Sweden and Italy.
Ulf Jevin is represented by Arnsted Östra Karup.
