About The Works
Flux, 2026
Flux is a new sculpture by Norwegian artist Signe Solberg. Crafted in aluminum and bronze-metabolized steel, its reflective surface shifts with the changing light. Though abstract with sharp angles, it suggests a figure mid-stride, reminiscent of Unique Forms of Continuity in Space by Umberto Boccioni.
Balancing movement and stillness, Flux explores transformation, tension, and the fluid relationship between body, material, and surrounding space.

About The Artist
Signe Solberg (b. 1985) lives and works in Hobøl, Norway. Solberg holds a MFA in visual arts from the Oslo National Academy of the Arts. She works primarily with sculpture, installation and art in public spaces, both permanent commissions and temporary projects. Through the use of industrial materials she creates works that relate directly to landscape, architecture and space with narratives that expand and change over time.
