About The Works
If I Have You, I Have the Whole Universe, 2026
For CHART in Tivoli 2026, Klara Lilja has created the sculpture "If I Have You, I Have the Whole Universe". The work draws inspiration from the universe, the whole cosmic system of matter and energy of which any living being is a part, seeking to condense it into one sculpture.
In line with Klara's practice centring vegetation and the natural world, the sculpture's colours matches those of Tivoli's living organisms.

About The Artist
Klara Lilja, b. 1989, lives and works in Copenhagen, Denmark. She graduated from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 2021. Lilja creates an organic genesis of imaginative beings, flora, and fauna in clay. Rendered in mesmerizing glazes, developed by the artist herself, the colours on the sculptures seem to blossom. Klara Lilja bestows her figures with an aura and refers to the concealed inner world of the viewer.
