Curated for
CHART

At CHART 2026, von Bartha will present a booth of three artists in dialogue. The booth will include a large-scale wall-installation by Emilia Bergmark (SE); a 9-piece panel work by Bob & Roberta Smith (UK); and an exclusive new sculpture by Danish trio Superflex, straight from their newest 'factory'.

Emilia Bergmark (SE)

Emilia Bergmark (SE, 1986) is a visual artist who develops poetic and humorous installations that combine sculpture, writing, interior design, film, and print. An ongoing strand of her research explores non-human objects from an anthropocentric viewpoint, analyzing and critiquing the systems by which humankind imposes order and meaning on the world. By giving voice to the non-human, she creates tragicomic scenes that poke fun at modern humanity's idiosyncrasies.

Emilia Bergmark (SE, 1986) has exhibited in numerous solo and group shows across Denmark, Germany, Iceland, the Netherlands, Sweden, and the UK, showcasing her work in international institutions and museums, such as Arken, Kunsthal Charlottenborg, Malmö Konstmuseum, and Reykjavik Art Museum. Recent significant public commissions include two site-specific works in Denmark: one located in Mørkhøj Park, Gladsaxe, and another at Spurvelundskolen, Odense.

Superflex (DK)

Art group Superflex (DK, 1993) was founded by Danish artists Jakob Fenger, Rasmus Nielsen and Bjørnstjerne Christiansen. Renowned for their playful, subversive analysis of our economic and social structures, their oeuvre consists of large-scale installations, films and long-term, process-based projects, all of which are known as ‘tools’. Seeing their work as something to be actively put to use, the tools are designed to affect or influence their social and economic context, often inviting participation from the visitor. Superflex’s work continues to confront issues of copyright, intellectual property and trademark infringement.

Art group Superflex (DK, 1993) was founded by Danish artists Jakob Fenger, Rasmus Nielsen and Bjørnstjerne Christiansen. They have had solo exhibitions, among others, at the Kunsthalle Basel in Switzerland, GFZK in Leipzig, Germany, Schirn Kunsthalle in Frankfurt am Main, the REDCAT Gallery in Los Angeles (Guarana Power), Mori Museum in Tokyo, Gallery 1301PE in Los Angeles and the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden.
