37 Nordic Galleries at the Art Fair
CHART 2026 brought together a carefully selected group of leading galleries from across the Nordic region, offering a concentrated view of the diversity, ambition and vitality of the Nordic art scene.
From established galleries with longstanding international profiles to younger and more experimental voices in the Please Notice section, the fair presented a broad spectrum of contemporary art practices across all mediums.
Over the course of the fair, galleries presented solo and group exhibitions spanning emerging and established artists, creating opportunities for collectors, curators, museum professionals and audiences to discover new work and engage with the Nordic art scene.

Talks Programme
The CHART 2026 Talks Programme brought together artists, curators, collectors, architects and other leading voices from across the art world and creative industries for a series of conversations exploring the ideas and questions shaping contemporary culture.
The programme ranged from the next generation of collecting and the international connections of the Icelandic art scene to art and architecture, public art, wellbeing and the future of art institutions. The programme also featured a series of Artist Talks with leading international curators and directors, including Carola Grahn, Emma Sarpaniemi, Loji Höskuldsson, Janaina Tschäpe, Simon Dybbroe Møller, SUPERFLEX and Miriam Kongstad.
Recordings from the Talks Programme will be released through the CHART Talks podcast, offering the opportunity to revisit the conversations and ideas from CHART 2026.

Performance Programme
The CHART 2026 Performance Programme brought art into the spaces around Charlottenborg, exploring the power of hypnosis, movement, power, play and humour. The programme featured works by Aapo Nikkanen & Raudie McLeod, h2o slutclub, Miriam Kongstad & Heva Vaupel, The Icelandic Love Corporation, The Copenhagen International Dance Festival & Lotte Sigh and Alberte Skronski. As part of an expanded partnership, the latter two also ventured into The Copenhagen Metro, extending the programme into the public space.
Music Programme
A full series of concerts were presented as part of this year's Music Programme, that were free and open for the public to attend. Performing artists included: Koilwood, David Risley, Yangze, Den Stenede Rille, Agnete Hannibal, A Good Year, Harrison Heat, Kasper Bjørke, Téa, Sofie Birch, Small White Man, Vinnie Who, Gal Go Grey, Murex, Unearth and Tania Just.

A Total Installation Staging the Courtyards
Pantomime
Following the first edition of CHART Public last year, in 2026 we were delighted to continue this initiative. Combining a total installation inside the courtyards at Charlottenborg with the public programme that takes place here, an open call was sent out earlier in the spring inviting teams of architects, designers, artists and scenographers to submit proposals for innovative stagings with a distinctive wow-factor.
The winning proposal, Pantomime, was created by the cross-disciplinary team of architects Mads Vagn Jacobsen and Frederik Lykkeberg Larsen and artist Oliver Sundqvist. The installation was realised in the courtyards of Charlottenborg during CHART, complementing the public programme taking place throughout the venue.
