About Golsa (NO)
Galleri Golsa is a cutting edge gallery, with main focus on emerging artist. It was established in 2015 and is centrally located in the vibrant East End of Oslo, Norway. The gallery, which occupies a space of 500 m2, is owned and directed by Gard Eiklid and Tuva Trondsdatter Trønsdal. Initially, Galleri Golsa was opened under the name Rod Bianco in 2009 by Bjarne Melgaard – one of Norway’s most recognised contemporary artists – with the aim of presenting international contemporary art in Oslo. Building upon the foundations of Rod Bianco, Galleri Golsa exhibits a wide variety of contemporary art. With this in mind, the gallery does not only aim to introduce international artists to a Norwegian audience, but also to support and promote Norwegian artists internationally.
For Chart 2018, Galleri Golsa will present artworks by Yves Scherer, Bjarne Melgaard / Sverre Bjertnes, Charlie Roberts and Pearla Piago.
