About Eunju Kang
Eunju Kang was born in 1983 in Korea. She currently lives and works in Oslo (Norway).
Norway based ceramic artist Eunju Kang explores the place of crafts in contemporary society. She studied ceramics in a range of diffrent approaches; industrial design, crafts and fine art in Korea and Norway. Kang’s material of choice is clay and paper and she uses drawing as her medium of expression. She explores the room between material-based and concept-based art. Her works were purchased by Korea Ceramic Foundation, as well as being housed by private collectors in Sweden, Denmark, Finland, The Netherlands and Japan.
As part of the Curio exhibition, Eunju Kang will present “Ceramic vocabulary book series” (2018).
