Podcasts – CHART TALKS
We are pleased to share with you podcasts of this year’s CHART TALKS, which was once again programmed by ArtReview and moderated by Oliver Basciano, Editor and Mark Rappolt, Editor-in-Chief, ArtReview.
CHART TALKS partners are ArtReview, Politiken and Prxjects by Mercedes-Benz. The TALKS programme was generously supported by the City of Copenhagen, the Danish Arts Foundation and Goethe Institute.
Under the general heading The Structures of Art the talks explored everything from schools and museums, to contemporary art practice and its crossovers with other disciplines, in particular with art and design:
Mobility, Migration, Narration

Speakers: Philippe Pirotte, director of Städelschule Frankfurt; Jean-Marc Bustamante, artist and director of École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts, Paris; Sanne Kofod Olsen, director of The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts; and Tom Emerson, architect, 6a Architects.
The Museum Now
Mark Rappolt, editor-in-chief of ArtReview; Eugene Tan, director of the National Gallery Singapore; Björn Geldhof, artistic director of Yarat Contemporary Art Space in Baku; Jérôme Sans, critic, curator and co-founder of Palais de Tokyo with Nicolas Bourriaud; and Nicholas Bourriaud, currently director of La Panacée art centre in Montpellier; in a discussion on what role museums play now in shaping cultural consciousness.
