About GALLERI BRANDSTRUP (NO)
Galleri Brandstrup Oslo was founded by Kim Brandstrup and Marit Gillespie in 2000, and is now located in Oslo’s new gallery district, Tjuvholmen. Their stall of artists includes a selection of the driving forces within Nordic contemporary art. Additionally they pride themselves on working with some of today’s most groundbreaking and internationally renowned artists. The gallery displays monthly exhibitions, organizes projects and shows with museums and other galleries besides participate in art fairs; the past years at The Armory Show and Art Brussels. In 2014, Galleri Brandstrup along with Eli Lilleeng Ertvaag formed BGE Art Projects in Stavanger, Norway, which provides contemporary art consultancy to companies, public and private collectors.
For CHART 2016, Galleri Brandstrup will present artworks from Marina Abramović, Sverre Bjertnæs, Fredrik Raddum, Joseph Kosuth, Robert Mapplethorpe and Michael Kvium.
