How are performative aspects affecting how designers work? In this conversation, three designers explore the idea of performance and how it affects both the working process and the final outcome.

Frederik Paulsen (b. 1980, Sweden) often uses cheap and readily available materials in a craft-like manner.

Milla Vaahtera (b.1981, Finland) is an artist and furniture designer who works at the intersection between sculpture and design.

Kiyoshi Yamamoto (b. 1983, Brazil) is a textile designer whose work combines the Japanese tradition of fine craftsmanship with the Brazilian love of colour.
