Adam Jeppesen & Axel Antas – Photography as Sculpture
31 Aug14:00 – 14:45
The Chapel, Charlottenborg
Axel Antas and Adam Jeppesen are both well-known for their photographic work, but their practices also move in transdisciplinary and sculptural directions. Together, they will explore the question of how to work from photography – sculpturally.
Axel Antas’ (b. 1976, Finland) multidisciplinary practice spans photography, drawing, video and sculpture. His works deals with questions on the relationship between man and nature.
Recently Adam Jeppesen (b. 1978, Denmark) has moved away from photography in a traditional sense to more object focused works, which appear as enigmatic presentations of a distorted reality.
Moderator: Charlotte Præstegaard Schwartz, Ph.d. in Art History and Director of Astrid Noacks Atelier, Copenhagen.
This venue is wheelchair accessible.
